Problems Pertaining to Internet Pornography and Children
Internet Pornography and Children - I watched a documentary recently called "The Price of Pleasure" that addressed issues the pertain to children and porn. As you might call, it was pretty disturbing.
Merely consider these figures about Internet Pornography & Kids :
11 years old is a conservative estimate of when children are first exposed to online pornography
90% of kids, ages 8-16 year olds have viewed pornography on the web (generally while doing assignments)
80% of teens 15-17 year olds have been exposed multiple times to hard-core pornography
Sexuality is part of life just like food. We need both to endure. But what will the future hold if kids get to form their views and ideals based on pornographic pictures or videos which they happened upon online? And if most 10 year old kids are seeing nudity for the first time on a pornography site?
What exactly does nudism have to do with all this? Nudism means all kinds of things to all sorts of folks. But naturism is certainly not sexual!
The mainstream might think and even believe that nudity is perverted, but naturists understand better. For accurate naturists, nudity is natural, our body is our body, and we should not feel ashamed of who we are or what we look like.
If individuals believe in God then in addition they believe that it was God that gave us this body and that we should never be embarrassed of it. After combing How Naked and Afraid Paved The Way For Dating Naked and TV Nudity? could not find any references about nudity being a terrible thing.
In my opinion, it'd be far healthier to educate children and address issues early on in life. What if children were first introduced to nudity through naturism and never through pornography? Would not there be a higher chance of that kid forming a more respectful mindset towards the nude form?
It goes without saying that if youngsters are exposed to nudity through porn, then the chances that child would link the two together are practically inescapable.
For nudists, the naked body is seen as only a little part of what makes a person. At Comfy I subsequently ran into the ocean and swam. It unclothed / clothes-free setting, individuals are compelled to make much more eye contact, which then causes them to be far more careful to what another person is actually saying. Contrary to what some may think, naturism goes a long way to diffuse sexual tensions.
With no accessories, it's very challenging to sexualize one's look. Wearing skimpy outfits serves just one function - SEX APPEAL. While being naked is just that - being naked. It is like saying, this who I 'm for better or for worse.
Internet Pornography & Children -
If activity is just not taken soon then we run the risk of having a entire generation of children who believe that being nude is sexual (through no fault of their own). Nudism is a lifestyle which professes that with the absence of clothes one can goes even more serious since growing up with such misconceptions will necessarily play an important part of how that kid will grow up and see his or her partner. Porn in and of itself isn't the difficulty. It's us as a society that keeps pushing the envelope and keeps needing new and nastier ways of filling our sexual fantasies.
If nudity were accepted I for one consider that society as a whole would function as the beneficiary.
Do you believe exposure to naturism or nudity at a young age would reduce the frequent have to seek out porn and sexual amusement later on in life? Can naturism reduce the requirement for pornography?
(In addition to Internet Pornography and Children .. As I was doing research, I also came across this other statistic that depressed and infuriated me at the same time. And we call ourselves a developed country?)
