Is The Petition For More Clothes-Optional Regions Rewarding or A Big Waste of Time?

White House Request for Clothes-Elective Places
More clothing-optional areas - It's puttered along for a couple of weeks and AANR has set their stamp of approval on it. Now it has just over 2,500 signatures of the 100,000 wanted. With just two weeks to go, it does not look like it'll meet it's aim. I 've a somewhat different position.
Initially, just 5,000 signatures were needed for the White House to issue a reply. Immediately after launching, the number soared to 25,000 and now it is 100,000. Even with the number of signatures needed ever increasing, reaching the target does not guarantee an official statement. Previously there have been requests to label GMO food, legalize marijuana, and close Guantanamo Bay that have all exceeded the requirements, but still fell on deaf ears. The White House is just cherry picking what they deem appropriate and will get them the most press. Even if this request for more clothes-optional outdoor spaces does reach its target and the White House decides it as among their significant dilemmas, there's absolutely no index the response will really address the problem or be serious in any way.

Another thing to mention is that there currently aren't any federal laws against informal, non-sexual nudity. All the laws on record have now been made firmly by the states. The implication of the petition is that every national park and woods would quarter off sections for clothes-optional use. From then on, who dictates where these clothing-optional places are? Or how about the rear of any cave occupied by a grizzly bear? Sure, they are clothing-optional too. Now, with government sanctioned clothes-optional regions around the area, there would need certainly to be means to command all the naked people from wondering out of the designated areas. It wouldn't be long before a federal law was signed, making all non-sexual nudity prohibited. By taking this to the national level, there is the potential of it backfiring, because there is really nothing to legalize.
http://wind.met.fu-berlin.de/wind/werbung/klick.php?goto=https://x-public.com get me wrong, I have nothing against a world with more nudie areas. It would be great if I turned out to be incorrect, and the request ended up receiving an official, positive reply from the White House. FKK did post about the request on Facebook and Twitter. Obtaining acceptance of the human anatomy is what it's about. But as it pertains to social nudity, I don't feel that creating modest clothes-optional zones is the answer, and by utilizing the government's "We The People" site, with its insignificant responses and lackluster track record, doesn't help with the credibility of the cause.
It should be noted the Naturist Action Committee issued an advisory reacting to the petition (link below). Rather than encourage everyone to sign, NAC basically said they leave it up to the individual to determine whether to sign it.
